Pocono's
June 2003
In June 2003, we go to visit Pat's sister and brother-in-law at their condo in the Pocono's. This is the first time we have visited this part of the United States. We will also visit with our daughter who is now living in New Jersey. Pat and I fly into Philadelphia on Saturday and then rent a car to drive up to the Condo. We will meet Cathy and Thom as well as Gretchen in the afternoon. Gretchen will stay overnight and then return to her apartment Sunday evening.
On Sunday, we go to Bushkill Falls, known locally as the Niagara of the Pocono's. There is a hiking trail that we go on. Other days we will see towns and estates as well as historical sites.
