Michigan Visit with Relatives
Greenfield Village
June, 2002
After the graduation, Pat and I headed for Detroit to visit with Pat's sister and her husband. One of the things we did was go to Greenfield Village. Greenfield Village was the brainchild of Henry Ford. There are many historical buildings here including workshops of the Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison, Graham Alexander Bell, Henry Ford and others. There are also displays of crafts (glass blowing, pottery making, etc.) and typical buildings that settlers may have lived in. All in all, it is an interesting place to spend a few hours.
And now for the photos....
