Italian Pilgrimage

This pilgrimage was organized by the associate pastor at our church (Father Thomas) and Global World Travel. It was for the parishioners of the church. The cost was reasonable and the company would be great! So we signed up for the trip. While there were times when I wished things may have been different, overall, this was a good trip. Pat and I had a good time and the company was great!
The group left home in the morning on US Airway. We connected through Philadelphia where there was a 3 or 4 hour layover. The flight left Philadelphia at around 7:00 pm Thursday evening. The flight had movies, meals and free drinks. This was an overnight flight so we arrived at the Rome airport on Friday morning. Pat and I managed to get some rest on the way over, but planes (especially the Airbus cattle cars that US Airways flies across the Atlantic) are very uncomfortable.
