Mary's House

March, 2015

Catholic tradition has it that St. John brought Mary with him when he came to Ephesus.  He settled her in a house high above the valley below and the city of Ephesus.  While not officially declared by the church that this is Mary's final home, 2 popes have come to visit this site.  It is also recognized as a pilgrimage by the Catholic church.
