The Sagada Familia began construction in 1882. It was still under construction in 2014. The construction of this Basilica is being funded by private donations. The main constriction is anticipated to be completed by 2026 with decorative elements to be completed by 2032. Construction will take 150 years.
Over the years, several architects have been involved with this project. This is most noticeable on the facade of the Basilica.
