San Francisco, June 1996
This is the second half of our cross country journey from Boston to Stanford University. I will stay a week with Gretchen, while Pat will stay 2 weeks. They do some tourist stuff.
Stanford University - this is where Gretchen will pursue her graduate work in chemistry.
Pat and Gretchen went to Hearst Castle. While traveling to get to Hearst Castle, Gretchen's car broke down. Evidently, they found a good mechanic and were able to complete their visit to Hearst Castle.
