On the morning of June 14, 2001, Pat and I flew to Bozeman, Montana to meet Gretchen.  She was attending a chemistry conference hosted at Montana State University.  The conference started on the previous Sunday and ended on Thursday, June 14th.  A day or 2 before we arrived, Bozeman and the surrounding areas had over a foot of snow.   It was a heavy wet snow.  We saw remnants of this snowfall during our entire stay.  There were lots of broken tree limbs and patches of snow all over.   Gretchen had a car and I had made reservations for the 3 of us for 4 nights at Fox Hollow Bed and Breakfast.  At the conference, Gretchen stayed on campus in a dorm.  This was reminiscent of her undergraduate days at Boston University.

The links below will take you to each individual day.  All days will include pictures.

We had fun on this long weekend trip.  We saw lots of very nice scenery, wild animals, and many other wonderful natural sights.

It was good to see Gretchen and we had a good time with her.

Please enjoy yourself as you view these pages.
