Caribbean Cruise
April, 2007
In early 2007, our daughter suggested that we take a Caribbean cruise. After due consideration we elected to do a cruise out of Galveston on Royal Caribbean's Rhapsody of the Seas. This cruise would have stops at Grand Cayman, Ochos Rios (Jamaica), and Mexico. Our daughter would fly in from Philadelphia to Houston Hobby the day before the cruise. Pat and I would drive down and we got a hotel near the airport. It then would be an easy drive to the Port of Galveston to board the ship.
Here are some pictures on and about the ship.
At our stop at Grand Cayman, we would go swimming with the stingrays. This was an adventure that we really enjoyed.
Our next stop is Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Here we would tour a sugar plantation and climb Dunn's Falls.
Our final stop is Mexico whee we will tour the fabulous Mayan ruins of Tulum on the coast of the Yucatan Pennisula.
