I believe this is Gretchen sitting on this snow "mountain". It was over 6 ft tall and was the result of the snow of late January, 1978 in South Bend, Indiana. I did a lot of shoveling to clear the driveway!!! Two years later when we were offered an opportunity to move to Dallas, we jumped at the chance.
Pat's Grandfather. He died in 2000 at the age of 104.
